What this role does
- Terminate and test copper links; fit keystones and patch panels
- Install and aim IP and analog cameras with the correct junction boxes
- Make waterproof outdoor connections
- Record test results and as-built markups
Hands-on competencies
Demonstrated in the training room and signed off by the instructor.
- Cat6 permanent link terminated and certified
- Turret/dome installed on its junction box, aimed and focused
- Analog camera terminated with compression BNC and 12 V checked under IR
